The Rolec Wallpod Electric Vehicle EV HomeSmart Tethered GPRS Charging unit has been designed to make charging electrical vehicles smarter. The unit features a built in GPRS communication antenna, that allows the user to connect their phone and control the unit from their mobile.
It has 1 x IEC 62196 (Type 2) charging gun, 5m tethered lead and lead holder. Charging speed is Mode 3, 7.2kW (32A).
The smart features include the charging status, stop/start charging and also charging history. It also allows the user to monitor and record all charging activity, history and also data!
The HomeSmart unit has a built in LED charging status indicator as well as overload and fault current protection.
The unit itself has an impact resistant design thanks to being fire retardant and made from corrosion resistant polycarbonate.
The unit has been certified by the BSI as safe to use in the domestic environment.
It is OLEV Grant Fundable.
