Pacific Coast Limited (PCL) was established in Gibraltar in June 2010. In the beginning, PCL focussed on the then new technology available with LED lighting and from there it evolved into the full-service wholesaling company. that it has now become.
Back in 2010 Gibraltar embarked on several key projects that PCL was fortunate enough to be an integral part of. The first of these projects was the Ocean View Mental health facility on Europa Road Gibraltar. This was more significant than we knew as it was the first such project in the world to be 100% LED and to have computer-controlled lighting systems. PCL was integral in assisting with the lighting design with E&M Consulting Engineers in Gibraltar to bring this technically challenging project to completion.
From the Ocean Views medical facility, PCL then embarked on the design and supply of lighting and power back-up systems for Gibraltar Parliament, Gibraltar International Bank headquarters amongst many other prestige developments.
The transition from Lighting to the full spectrum of electrical wholesaling came when PCL was asked to assist in the coordination of materials supply for the Mid Town project which required materials to be on site on a when-needed basis to avoid unnecessary storage and better financial management.
Today PCL is a full-service electrical materials supplier that can draw on its engineering and design capabilities to assist our customers in delivering on time, on budget projects.
In 2020 PCL was delighted to be awarded a two year contract to provide electrical equipment to Her Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar, this will allow us to continue to provide cost effective British Standard materials to our customers in Gibraltar.
