Kidde Slick 1SFWR 230V Ionisation Smoke Alarm

The Kidde 1SFWR is a 230V mains powered ionisation smoke alarm, with rechargeable battery back up and wire-free capabilities. Part of the Slick range of fast-fit alarms that can be interconnected with up to 23 other Kidde and Firex mains alarms, it also has optional wireless capability using a wireless alarm base (RF-SFTP).

This mains powered alarm with rechargeable sealed-in Lithium battery back-up is suitable for detecting fast flaming fires (e.g. from electrical equipment), so is suited for most areas of the home. It has a unique fast-fit system with separate base plate to allow for fitting after construction and also removal for maintenance.

The standard base is the key to hard-wire linking with other Kidde and Firex mains alarms, however this alarm can be linked wirelessly to up to 15 other units using a wireless alarm base (RF-SFTP) which allows for RF interlink functionality. Utilising wireless technology the 1SFWR (in conjunction with the RF-SFTP) can be remotely tested and hushed when used with the Slick RF-RTH unit.

Other features of the alarm include; Auto reset - after activation with latching LED allowing the initiating alarm to be identified; Separate Test and Hush buttons (to test and temporarily silence nuisance alarms); Rechargeable Lithium cell battery back-up, providing continuous operation in the event of mains failure for 6 months; Tamper resistant locking device; Deep base allowing for easier wiring; Automatic self-testing - every 40 seconds; 30 day low battery warning.

The Slick 1SFWR has a 10 year manufacture warranty.
